Punjab CM, Maryam Nawaz Sharif recently announced to provide free Wi-fi spots all over the Punjab. Lately, Maryam Nawaz ordered to enable free W-fi in Lahore including Manga Mandi, Multan Road, Bund Road, Chuhng, Shahpur Kanjran, Sundar, Valencia, Maraka, and other places.

The Chief Minister said that emergency Wi-Fi services are now offered to the public for free as part of the “Digital Punjab Vision.”As per the Punjab Safe Cities Authority, the Lahore plan has increased the coverage area of free Wi-Fi from 100 to 200 sites.

It has been already mentioned in the official notification that  Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and other social media platforms are not supported by the service. Every free Wi-Fi hotspot in Lahore has a 300-foot range from its designated spot.
