There is good news for the poor families of Punjab, the prices for Atta have been further reduced by the Punjab Government. As per the recent announcement of the Punjab Minister of Food, Mr.Bilal Yasin the prices for flour or atta 10kg or 20kg bags are again reduced.

During the conference, Bilal Yasin stated that the average person was much relieved by the significant decrease in flour costs. He said that the drop in the price of flour has also resulted in lower prices for roti and naan.
The retail price limitation on Atta has been upheld by the Punjab province for the second time in two months. On July 6, 2024. The government established a maximum retail cost of Rs 900 and Rs 1,800 for district-specific atta flour bags measuring 10 kg and 20 kg, respectively.
New Atta Prices in Punjab
A twenty-kilogram atta bag now costs a further Rs 70 less in Lahore. A 20-kilogram bag of flour will now retail for Rs 1730 in the market as opposed to Rs 1800.
A 20-kilogram flour bag in Sheikhupura would now only cost Rs 1640 after being discounted by Rs 100.
The price has been lowered by Rs 80 in Jhelum, Chakwal, Pakpattan, and Narowal and by Rs 60 in Multan, Sahiwal, Sargodha, and Attock. A 20 kg flour bag in Rawalpindi, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Nankana, and Okara is now only Rs 50 less.
