Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab, has launched an initiative to stop the adulteration of milk in the region. She gave official authorities the order to launch a specific campaign to prevent milk adulteration.
To stop milk adulteration, the Punjab government has decided to assemble a task force made up of the relevant departments. In the following three years, Lahore will be transformed into a model adulteration-free district under this project.
Special Campaign To Eliminate Milk Adulteration
During a conference, she discussed in detail a thorough plan to stop intentionally driving up the cost of goods like milk and chicken. We cannot accept artificial price increases. She reviewed in great detail the problems of the province’s milk and chicken supply chain and price structure.
Ibrahim Murad projected that when the Lahore model proved successful, Punjab would be experiencing a more organized battle against contaminated milk. A larger public awareness campaign over tainted milk was ordered by the Minister of Livestock.
The panel also decided that testing strips should be created with expert help to evaluate milk quality at the home level. In this way, housewives will be able to inspect the milk right away and refuse it if it is of low quality.
