New Method How To Create EOBI Sahulat Card [Step by Step]

The EOBI Sahulat Card will soon be issued to provide up to 10 percent subsidy to the 8 million beneficiaries on the purchase of staple food from the utility stores, said Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari, and an agreement was signed by the EOBI and USC on Friday.

In a press conference, Mr. Bukhari said this partnership between EOBI Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) and Utility Stores Corporation (USC) will prove a milestone in achieving the goal of PM IMRAN KHAN to convert this country into a Madina-like welfare state.

He also mentioned that this project would provide the card-holding EOBI pensioners and insured persons with a subsidy of about Rs 1,000 per month. They can get this discount on five basic food items wheat flour, oil, rice, grains, and pulse.

Zulfikar Bukhari said that after 20 months of this project, the government raised the annuity of EOBI pensioners from Rs 5,250 to Rs 8,500, further, it would be increased up to Rs 15,000 till the end of its tenure.

He added that this collaboration between two organizations plays a key role in improving the lives of low-income people by providing them with basic food at low rates, and cardholders would enjoy a 10 percent discount on some other food items except selected food.

EOBI Sahular Card New Method

EOBI Chairman Azhar Hameed announced that the EOBI Sahulat Card would be available for people in the next month. Initially, it would be provided to hundreds of people; later, all the beneficiaries, verified by the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), would be able to get this card.
