EOBI Monthly Pension Raise?

Bilawal Bhutto chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party addressed a function arranged by PLB (Pakistan Labour Bureau) in Karachi. 

This programme was held at the Arts Council on the eve of International Labour Day. His main focus is on the protection and welfare of workers who make the nation and play a vital role in the development of the country. 

He also said that his grandfather Mr Zulfqar Ali Bhutto established the EOBI program for the welfare of retired workers. 

EOBI pensioners have a large number of senior citizens who are retired from private organisations like sugar mills, textile industries and Pakistan steel mills. 

With rising living items costs such as utilities, medicine, clothes many other needs, they can’t survive in this critical situation.

Increasing the EOBI pension from 10,000 to 25,000 will be a good step for the authority. It’s not hard for the government to increase pensions because a pension funds employees’ contributions employees during their working time.  

All pension who worked during the whole service how can they ignore them? Our Government must make good policies to support our pension. Increase the pension of old people. So they can live a good and peaceful life.
