Good News EOBI Double Pension is Coming Out For Eid Ul Adha Today
The Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) has made the much-awaited announcement that pensions will be released in time for Eid ul Adha in 2024 to give a sign of relief to thousands of pensioners in Pakistan. These announcements give them hope to enjoy this event of Eid with financial ease.
EOBI Pension is Coming Out For Eid Ul Adha
The federal government made a decision about the issue of pensions and announced that recipients of the Employees’ of Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) will be cherished with the raise in pension that will be declared very soon for Eid ul Adha 2024.
It is also indicated that every retired employee who is registered with the Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) will be given an increased pension of $8500 within the next six months.
The federal cabinet took the decision to increase pensions from Rs 6,500 to Rs 8,5000. This increased pension will be awarded to the pensioners shortly after Eid ul Adha.
Additionally, EOBI cardholders will be given the benefit of receiving essential items from the utility stores under government control at a discounted rate. This facility will be provided under an agreement signed yesterday. Also check 8171 and ehsaas program.
According to this agreement, a rule is implemented by the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) and the Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) to provide all the basic necessities of life at a discounted rate to the disadvantaged.
EOBI cardholders will receive discounted prices on essential supplies
After signing the agreement between the USC and EOBI, the chairmen of both organizations, Zulfiqar Bukhari and Zulqarnain Khan, conducted a press conference.
The utility stores under government provision would be responsible for providing all the basic commodities at discounted rates to the Eobi cardholders after disbursement of the Sahulat card across the counter, said Zulqarnain Khan.
In addition, the sahulat card is just for deserving people verified by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). A beneficiary helpline (5566) is also available to get the registration.
The federal government has decided to increase the EOBI pension to Rs 8,500 and allow the pensioners to get relief of Rs 1,000 through USC Sahulat Cards. Said SAPM Zulfiqar Bukhari
The latest agreement was signed by PM Imran Khan and the members of the federal cabinet about an increase in the Eobi pension in the current session.
Double Pension on Eid Ul Adha
The latest update through the social media platform mentioned that Pakistan’s government decided to provide pensioners with double pensions in June 2024. They decided to broadcast this news on Eid ul Azha because it is the sacred festival of Muslims coming on the 16th or 17th of June.
The news is circulating that the budget of Pakistan will be declared near Eid ul Azha. In this situation, a double pension will bring a smile to people’s faces.
The government of Pakistan takes this proactive action according to the law to provide the employees with a double pension and salary on some special occasions that come between the 21st and the 31st of the month, like Eid ul Fitr or Eid ul Azha. Moreover, they skip one month of salary from the following month.
